Call-In
Phone Line You will enter the conference muted, meaning your phone line is closed and you cannot be heard. When you want to talk press *6. You will hear the system say "Your hand is raised". This means the system is alerting the host that you would like to speak. You cannot be heard until the host opens your line. It may be a few seconds or minutes until the host is ready to open your line. Once your line is opened, you will hear the system say "Please ask your question". Your line is now open and you are live on the show. Please state your first name and the state you are calling from! (You may use an alias if you prefer... we just like to get a feel of how far and wide our listeners are located). The host will welcome you to the show and you can then ask your question. * The engineer will automatically mute you back out once you are done talking. You may remain on the line and listen to the show or you may disconnect. If you want to talk again simply press *5 again and the same process repeats. You may disconnect or call back at any time and as often as you like.
*
The engineer will mute out any call with excessive background noise.
Also please note that callers exhibiting hostility, rudeness or lack
of respect will be kicked from the conference and banned from the system.
Tips & Tricks If you are listening to the web stream and you call-in to the show at the same time on the phone, there will be a loud echo and feedback squealing on both ends of the line. Please be sure to turn down the volume on your speakers before you call-in to the show. You will be able to listen to the show on the phone while you are waiting to be connected live to the show.
Try to keep your
background noise to a minimum. Don't be washing dishes, turn the TV
off, don't have side conversations while you are on the air. If at all possible please do not call in using a speakerphone, as they commonly produce unwanted noise and make it difficult to understand what you are saying. Headsets are by far the better choice for hands-free calling into a radio show. We understand most people use cell-phones these days, and sometimes there is no other way for you to call in. If you must call in from a cell-phone if possible please try to remain stationery (not driving) as the call quality will be much better if you are not rolling from tower to tower. Try and make sure you have a strong cell signal and ample battery charge left. Also try to be in a quiet place with minimal wind and background noise. This will all significantly contribute to a better sounding call.
Please keep your comments relevant to the topic being discussed. Be polite, don't interrupt, follow basic rules of civility. We reserve the right to lock-out or disconnect any caller at any time for any reason with or without notice. We will kick and ban anyone from the chat server or teleconference who acts with disrespect. All opinions and ideas are welcome, however this is a community of elevated minds gathering together to learn, share and gain knowledge and wisdom. Hard questions are welcome if you have a humble and genuine attitude of seeking the truth. Anyone acting in a crude, crass, rude, disrespectful or annoying manner will be removed and blocked from re-entry. If those are the games you play, look elsewhere as you will find no enjoyment or acceptance here.
We
welcome you to the show... and we hope that
